Having seen various incorrect, incomplete and inaccurate lists of Norse gods circulating Tumblr, I have decided to write my own and also include common terminology alongside. I will also include other beings who exist within the old lore and modern traditions.
I have opted to include the names in Norwegian, with translations in parenthesise after, along with a brief summary of some of the associations given to some of those gods. Well, there goes the chances of anyone being productive today.
Note: I do not claim to be a shape expert, but it is 100% fact that BB-8 is shaped like a friend.
Hopefully any of you interested in character/prop design will enjoy!
This is some good examples of composition.
Im a little confused since I’m still beginning to make props and stuff, so after you’ve glued the cardboard together, spackle it, grind, then sealant?
So what you’ll do;
Draw out/cut your layers.
With My Cardboard I glue Posterboard to it for extra stability and for a smooth medium.
But On the picture above ^^^ Where ever you see the brown cardboard it will be covered in my “GOOP”
So now you’ll see the beginning of gooping and sanding here,
And just by doing that, you’ll see its a lot cleaner and less cardboardy. But the main key to that is sanding!!!! Sand until you bleed!!! Then SAND MOAR!!!! Not really but you’ll sand a lot. but any product requires that. I use sponges and papers. Only use power tools for taking off mass amounts.
And then the bottom.
The ring is just well framed Comic book backing gooped and sanded.
But once youre done sanding you seal. Then prime!
TADA!!! So anymore questions I’ll try and help. but I have no more pictures.
An online magazine published a Shoe Making tutorial I wrote. It will eventually be on my website, and I will add to it eventually with painting tips and removable cover tips, but for now you can view it at D-Infinity!
The water bottle sold me. Very nice touch.
WHAT IS THIS MY BRAIN DOES NOT COMPREHEND IT.
Turn your head sideways.
This has been a lesson in forced perspective.
THAT IS COOL AS FUCK HOLY SHIT
