I swear to god I’m sick of seeing people say that Riza saying she would commit suicide is manipulative. She didn’t say it with the intention of changing Roy’s mind. She didn’t even say it without him asking her directly, and it’s clear from her body language that she didn’t want to admit it.

Also it’s not because she can’t live without him. It’s because she’s only living for the chance of rebuilding the country and she can’t do that when the person she’s helping is dead and she’s likely to face execution for murdering him.

Most importantly of all, just because someone is suicidal does not mean they don’t deserve to be in a loving relationship. Seriously I’m done.

OH MY GOODNESS YOU’VE REACHED THAT PARTTTTTT. UGH I WAS SO UPSET WHEN HE DIED. I WAS WATCHING IT WITH MY BROTHER AND EVEN HE WAS UPSET. OMG that was me last night! MAES WHYYYYYYY QAQ except me and Graeme were watching brotherhood so it happened S1E10 and I could remember vaguely from when I watched the original FMA that something happened but I couldn’t quite remember what and then it happened… It wasnt supposed to come so soon D: it was later in the other one whyyyyyyy

OH yeah I heard in Brotherhood they were cramming the entire manga into not many episodes, so they had to speed up to his death… SO AWFUL but at least you have less time to get attached to him??? STILL MAD UGH. THE AUTHOR BETTER HAVE CRIED HER EYES OUT WHEN SHE DREW THOSE PAGES OR ELSE SHE IS HEARTLESS DARGHHHHHH.

I wish I wasn’t so attached sobsob. I think they really jammed in the father-daughter gushing and really emphasised how awesome he is just to make it hurt more. And of course how Roy has a long time to go all emo and express his anguish ;_; I had a lot of feelings. Doesn’t help that I have residual warm fuzzies about Hughes from last time I watched it like 10 years ago… That is how great he is. SHE BETTER HAVE CRIED. There is no way she didn’t feel the pain… And she did it anyway. Although… There’s no way he could have survived. He’s too good.

1. She cried because she loved Hughes as much as the rest of us

2. She laughed because she destroyed us
